Long story...

Since I just created this blog, I'll start at the time when I didn't have my blog.....
***
End-of-year, 2007 (P5 year)

It was the SA2 period and everyone was totally stressed out. After assembly, my class, 5I, headed to our classroom on the 4th floor of Block A. Like all the other classes, we settled our bags agaisnt the locker (on top of the locker for those who sat near the window), took our pencil cases, geometry sets and water bottles and went to our seats.

Today was the Mathematics examination, the last examination for the Normal Chinese classes, but sadly not for us as the next day was Higher Chinese examination. Taking a deep breath, I started on Section A.

**

"Okay, 5I, write your last word and put down your pens. Time is up," announced the mysterious unknown Chinese-speaking teacher who was taking our class, noticing the boys at the back, as usual, pretending that 'put down your pens' was 'pull down your pants'. I sighed a huge sigh of relief as the teacher collected the papers. I had never felt that way all my life! I felt like I was relieved, but EXTRA EXTRA relieved, as if all the examinations were over. That was probably the reason why I just passed the Higher Chinese examination.....

**

Again, we settled their bags on top of/against the lockers and took our pencil cases into the classrooom. Nervous, I sat down in my seat and listened to another mysterious unknown teacher, this time English-speaking, going on about when we would end the examination and giving permission of going to the toilets to those who had to, row by row. When it came to my row's turn, everyone went except me. Why? Well, for someone who rarely uses the school toilets, it's usual. When everyone was ready and back froom the loo, the examination began.

When our report books were given, everyone excitedly went around the classroom to their friends to see either how much they got on a subject or which class they were going to the next year. Disappointed, I received a few visits from my friends, most of whom were going to either 6H, I or best of all, J. My good friend, YJ, came to me and enthusiastically announced that she was going to 6J. I was very happy for her, but I think she noticed that my face turned a bit sullen when I told her that I was going to 6E. Thankfully she isn't the beause-you're-good-I-like-you kind of friend and she kindly told me that it was okay and that we still would be friends.

Then, I decided to visit another friend of mine (henceforth known as Yu Hui), who looked rather unsatisfactory sitting at her seat. I found out that she too was going to 6E. Glad that I had company in my 2008 class, I reminded her that at least we were together. Still unhappy, she said that she wanted to appeal for a better class. After hearing that, my excitement went down, back to its place when I knew that YJ and I were going seperate ways as at that moment I realised that I would have to make new friends all over again, and that didn't sound very nice.

For the rest of the year, I put all my troubles behind me and enjoyed it with all my friends for the last time. Once, two girls arranged for an in-the-class-party (which we were not really allowed to have but our English teacher allowed it anyway) and we all had fun as there was pizza, favourite drinks and lots of finger food. We had so much fun!

Another fun event that lasted over the rest of the year was games. Everyone had fun playing uno, stress and many other fun stuff we could get our hands on. One girl brought her Regis Cube and kind of showed off her skill but I didn't really notice because she deserved to show off as no matter how it got mixed it up, she always managed to complete it!

5I was so much fun and I miss all my ex-classmates, even if they might have been horrible at times. I've said it before and I'll say it again: ALL THE BEST FOR PSLE 2008!
